Transfer Criteria (FDA Local)
Initial decisions concerning transfer requests and the status oftransfers shall be made by the principal of the receiving campus based on the District’s research of the student’s enrollment status, attendance history, and discipline status in the student’s previous district. When considering initial transfer or continuance of a transfer, the following nonexclusive list of criteria shall be considered:
- Whether or not the admission of the student would cause overcrowding of classes or require the District to add personnel, programs, or buildings;
- The student’s academic and/or conduct record;
- The student’s attendance record;
- The student’s enrollment status; and
- Cooperation of the student’s parents or guardians.
