The Chapel Hill Education Foundation is a non-profit corporation that was formed in 2003. The purpose of our organization is to promote scholarships in the Chapel Hill Independent School District by providing financial support, leadership and professional expertise for students and teachers to colleges, universities, and trade or technical schools and professional seminars. In addition, the foundation provides financial support through grants to the Chapel Hill campuses for qualified educational projects.

The Foundation awarded scholarships totaling over $15,000 to graduating seniors this past year and implemented a campus grant program, which awarded $1,100 to each of the three campuses in CHISD. This is the fifth year in a row that the foundation has been able to fund scholarships to 100% of the applicants.

The foundations scholarship recipients are evaluated on varying categories for educational assistance. One of the factors in determining scholarship recipients each year is participation in events supported by The Chapel Hill Education Foundation. Seniors and juniors receive points throughout the year based on their assistance. The foundation believes student participation is vital to our existence and allows our students to be a part of the development of the foundation for their classmates.

The Foundation would like to thank all of you for your generous contributions and is asking for your continued support.
