About The Chapel Hill Education Foundation…

The Chapel Hill Education Foundation (CHEF)—a non-profit corporation established in 2003
with a strong commitment to supporting students and educators within the Chapel Hill
Independent School District.

CHEF’s mission is to promote educational success through scholarships, grants, and
professional development opportunities. We proudly provide financial assistance to students
pursuing higher education at colleges, universities, trade schools, or technical institutions.
Beyond scholarships, CHEF offers campus-based grants for innovative and impactful
educational projects across all Chapel Hill ISD campuses—helping bring creative ideas to life in
the classroom. Additionally, we support new teachers as they start their journey in the classroom.
Students in high school can earn CHEF points by selling raffle tickets, and volunteering at
harvest festival, Go Big Red auction and other events.

Our yearly Go Big Red fundraiser in coordination with our homecoming basketball game, gives
an opportunity for businesses and individuals to donate and help our cause.
Through financial support, leadership, and expertise, CHEF is dedicated to enhancing
educational experiences and opening new doors of opportunity for our district’s students and
staff.
