Pre-K Students

Chapel Hill ISD offers two options for Pre-Kindergarten families, including free full-day pre-k based on eligibility and tuition-based full-day pre-k. To attend a CHISD pre-k program, students must be 4 on or before September 1.

Kindergarten Students

Every spring, Chapel Hill Elementary School hosts registration for students entering kindergarten the following school year. To attend kindergarten, students must be five years of age or older on or before September 1.

Returning Students

Families of returning students to the district will have an opportunity to update their back-to-school forms during the summer through the Gradebook Parent Portal. An annoucement will be made through the Chapel Hill Website, Text Message program, and through our Chapel Hill Facebook page when those forms are available.
